Question:
what are the symptoms of asthma
Answer:
Some of the signs/symptoms of asthma are shortness of breath; wheezing
when exhaling; rapid, shallow breathing that is easier when sitting up;
breathing difficulty, neck muscles tighten; and restlessness.
Asthma is caused by spasms of the bronchi and bronchioles.. (air
passages) followed by a swelling of the passages, and thickening of lung
secretions (sputum). This decreases or closes off air to the lungs. These
changes, or an 'attack' can be triggered by allergens, such as pollen, dust,
mold, some foods.. lung infections, such as bronchitis.. smoke.. strong
odors.. physical exercise.. or stress.
The spasms are caused by stress. Transcendental Meditation has been found to
dissipate this condition without the need for inhalers. TM also works on areas
in the system that need repairing.
I learnt 20 years ago and 2 weeks after learning, my smokers cough had
diappeared!
I still smoke and uptil now enjoy a fag and only the occasional small cough.
The lungs are next to the atmosphere and are subject to the collective stress in
the
atmosphere. Smoking doesn't help.
Check out 'alt.meditation.transcendental'. You have to learn from a teacher...it cannot be learnt from a book efffectively.
You can even learn other techniques:
Instant relief, levitating, increased awareness. Soon you will womder why
everyone
doesn't do it!!
I guarantee it will work but keep off concepts and expectations, just do the
technique as taught.
If anybody else would like to know of other possible benefits pleae reply to

only, as I don't want to clog my mailbox, unless it is of a very personal
nature.
TM is in the phone book and introductory talks are free.
To learn is about £300 in UK, and only 4 one-hour sessions over 4 days.
You are taught one-to-one, with also a group meeting to discuss experiences and
no charge ever after that.
